From January 1, 2021 all materials for new certificates will be converted into electronic form.
November 18, the Government of the Russian Federation within the implementation of the "new regulatory strategy" mechanism adopted a Decree № 1856 "On the procedure of formation and maintenance of the Unified Register of certificates of conformity (CoCs), providing information contained in the specified register and payment for providing such information", developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia with the participation of Rosaccreditation.
The Decree involves the creation of the New Electronic Register of CoCs from January 1, 2021. The procedure of formation and maintenance of the register is supposed to apply the data and documents digitization necessary for issuance of CoCs and their electronic signing through an automated service. Data entry and control over their content will be performed in an automatic mode. These measures will increase the quality of data entered into the register and allow to trace the certification procedures performed.
The document also implies entering into the register of data on periodic inspection control over the certified products performed by the Certification Body (CB). This measure will help to quickly identify CBs that violate the established certification procedures, as well as products that have not been confirmed as safe in accordance with the established procedure.
The register contains all the necessary information about the certificates issued, including information about the inspection control, that will allow Rosaccreditation to provide work with data in the field of accreditation on a qualitatively new level.
Business and society will receive a source of up-to-date data on all products certified in Russia.
