Rosaccreditation has launched a user-friendly digital platform - safety.fsa.gov.ru. In one click you can get information whether the purchased goods meet the safety standards. This tool allows customers to quickly enter the registers of "Certificates of Conformity" and "Declarations of Conformity". This can be even done immediately before buying the goods they like.
On the landing page it is possible to find information about the procedure of certification and declaration of products in Russia, find out which certified and declared products are the most popular among Russians, read the step-by-step instruction to check the certificate or declaration.
One of the main objectives of the project is to give consumers a clear tool for obtaining information from the registers and tell how to use this information correctly. To ensure the safety of the goods, Rosaccreditation recommends that buyers request a certificate or declaration from the seller before purchasing a product and check the information about these documents on the website of the department.
There are two ways to check the certificate or declaration:
1) a QR code is applied to the product, and when the camera of the mobile device is pointed at it, there is an instant transfer to the register of the Federal Accreditation Service.
2) Use unique register platform: enter the number of the document or even its part in the search line in the registers of the Federal Accreditation Service and to press the search button.
Providing consumers with a simple and clear access to the database of certificates and declarations on the website of Rosaccreditation helps to improve product quality, protection of rights and safety of customers.
The registers are actively used not only by individual customers but as well as by retail companies in their work. Thanks to these registers the retailers can quickly verify data from suppliers.
